Rachel Lang, Vice President
Rachel Lang is a professional astrologer, psychic medium, and healer. She writes a monthly horoscope column for the Omega Institute’s monthly newsletter and the author of Modern Day Magic: 8 Simple Rules to Realize Your Power and Shape Your Life. She regularly offers presentations, teaches classes, and leads workshops.
Rachel has maintained a private practice working with individuals and businesses since 2006.
Rachel Lang holds a master's degree in theology from Loyola Marymount University, emphasizing feminist theology and ethics. She is certified by the American Federation of Astrologers. She serves as the Vice President of the Los Angeles chapter of the NCGR and is the Outreach Director on the international board for NCGR. She is a member of the International Society for Astrological Research and the Organization for Professional Astrologers.

Gayle Geffner, Secretary
Gayle Geffner has been an astrologer for over forty years. Her astrological philosophy is to take every placement in an astrological chart and find the positive energies for her clients, giving them optimism, courage, practical advice, and the best times to act or react, as well as taking the difficult energies in a chart and giving her clients positive suggestions with which to deal and cope with any situation; in other words, a positive and practical astrologer for all of life's situations whether relationship, step parenting, unemployment, life changes, and even ADD and ADHD.
She has had articles published in Aspects Magazine (USA), The Regulus Ebertin Newsletter (Australia), Today's Astrologer (USA), Baltimore Chapter NCGR Newsletter, NCGR Memberletter, and NCGR Geocosmic Journal. Gayle is the author of the books "Astrology for Career Success" (published by ACS Publications), "Creative Step Parenting" (Published by the American Federation of Astrologers), and" Astrological Markers of ADD and ADHD" (published by ACS Publications). Her strength is research and writing. She has lectured at American Federation of Astrologers conferences and NCGR local chapters.
Gayle's academic degrees include a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from California State University, Nortbridge, and two paralegal certificates from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law (in corporations and in litigation). She currently lives is Los Angeles, California.
Lars Mellis, Outreach Director, Treasurer
Lars Mellis is a professional astrologer based in West Hollywood, CA. In addition to meeting with clients, he has an astrology-themed YouTube channel which contains series including “Taking the Scare Out of the Square” (with Rachel Lang) and monthly astro weather reports. Lars is currently on the board of NCGR-LA as the Outreach Director.
Lars has a well-rounded educational background which includes a bachelor’s degree in environmental science focusing on honeybee research from Franklin & Marshall College plus a master’s degree in University Management and Student Affairs from USC.
Aside from meeting with clients, Lars also performs stand-up comedy and improv in the LA area and is a competitive recreational tennis player.
